Dr. Mammas founded Bayonne Veterinary Medical in 1996. He is a graduate of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena in the Domincan Republic. During his 30 years in practice, Dr. Mammas has specialized in soft tissue surgery and is widely hailed for his expertise with English Bulldogs. A USDA certified veterinarian, Dr. Mammas leads BVM's surgical department and continously strives to provide the most recent and up-to-date treatment options available to your pets, most recently adding cold laser therapy for pain, inflammation, and wound healing.

As a dog owner, doctor,  and father, Dr. Mammas' believes in treating each pet as part of his own family by providing integrative pet care and helping pet owners make the best and most informed decisions when it comes to the health and wellness of their pets. Dr. Mammas and the BVM team are active supporters of a number of local animal rescues and shelters. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Greek. 

Dr. Pavol graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Koscie, Slovakia Republic. After completing his clinical year at Tufts University, he was a research scientist with Glxco Smith Kline. He joined Bayonne Veterinary Medical in 2003. Dr. Sirny is passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine – from wellness care to complex medical conditions. He is married with 2 daughters and enjoys hikining, biking, and spending time with his family. Dr. Sirny is fluent in English and Slovakian.
